One of the first days at work a guy came in and his phone rang.
He looked at the caller id and smiled and took a deep breath and said to the caller,
"Sophia, where do I have to come and pick you up so you'll come out on the boat with me?"
That was almost a week ago and I just woke up with that thought.
I want that joy.
I want that feeling.
I want more friends that want to spend time with me that much and be that happy to hear my voice.
Someone who thinks spending the day doing something fun is great and yet the thought of spending the day doing that same something with me would be even more so.
I wonder if she was as happy and excited to hear those words as they made me.
I wonder if she let him pick her up and they spent the day on the boat.
I hope she did.
