Deep thoughts...

I wonder what you are doing tonight.
Are you with someone you love?
Is it cold?
Do you wish you were somewhere else?
What did you have for dinner?
Did you do something fun today?
Do you know how much I love you?
Did you sing out loud today?
Did you know that I thought about you today?

I spent the night with friends celebrating new life.
I am with a couple of someone's I love.
It is cold, but cozy in my lodge.
I wish I was somewhere else and here all at once.
I had stuffed mushrooms for dinner and goat cheese bruschetta for dessert later.
I worked today, it was fun.
I do love you so very much.
I sang out loud today a lot!
I did think about you, often and with love.

And PS if this is you know who, I still you know what.

The one...

Someone to share my pizza with, I can't eat a whole one.
Someone to share a movie with, they just aren't as much fun by yourself.
Someone to take a walk with, it's just more with someone else.
Someone to cook a meal for, I enjoy it.
Someone to shop with, it's nice to have another opinion.
Someone to talk on my pretty purple phone to, after 9PM and on weekends, it's free!
Someone to tell me to get over myself, it's easier when love tells you that your being a dork.
Someone to come home to, be it ever so humble, there's no place like home.
Someone who says, "You smell good," after you've cleaned the house.
Someone who says, "you are beautiful," even when you don't feel it.
Someone who watches me when I don't know it because they like the way I am.
Someone who comes up behind me to wrap their arms around me, just because.
Someone who loves animals, I want a little fuzzy dog to carry around.
Someone who loves me for me.
Someone who loves my kids because of who they are, not because of me.
Someone to cook for me, because it's always better when someone else makes it for you.
Someone to drive sometimes, because sometimes it's nice to just enjoy the ride.
Someone who can't keep their hands off of me, because it's nice to be wanted.
Someone that likes music, in any form, because there's always a song...
Someone that will dance with me even when there isn't music.
Someone who understands the why of me and still likes the who of me.
Someone who likes to walk in the rain and the snow.
Someone to share the ups and the downs with, rollercoasters are more fun when shared.
Someone who will let me take care of them when they are sick, it's how I roll.
Someone who makes me laugh, I can't live without humor.
Someone who can make me cry and laugh in the same moment.
Someone who gets me.
Someone for me.
Someone.
The one.

The best things...

When you have a friend that is willing to call you at 12:30AM their time just for you to spend 20 mintues telling them how you had a bad day.

That they cared enough to say, tell me what's wrong.

And then patient enough to listen and say, hey, it's okay.

And then care enough to say, get over yourself and your screwy hormones.

And ya know what? It made me feel better. Didn't stop the screwy hormones, but ya can't fence time...

Thanks, I appreciate it.

So, other than my rough night tonight, I had a great week.
The recap?

Well, I got a new white car from my mom and dad, a new purple phone from my dad and shelly, and new green glasses from the power's that be.

I got a great review at work this week. Out of five categories, I got "exceeds expectations" in all five. Feels good to get the recognition for doing what I do no matter who's watching.

The kids are sick, but getting well. I have friends at work that like me, quirks and all, and some of them have even more quirks than I do!

There are people in this world that love me.

I have friends that care enough to call me at midnight to talk me off the ledge.

The Next Door Pub and James are fun on Wednesday with the work crowd, but there's nothing like a Dale show at the Countryside Pub on Thursday, cuz that's when I get to see Colleen and catch up for the week. I can't wait for Alpine!

I brought Colleen toys for Chase and I'm dying to know if he likes them! You can't pass up a firefighter and his dog AND the cop and robber for $1.24 each!

I talked to Jon and Lisa a bunch of times and Lisa's back in school and thinks this semester is going to kick her butt. (She says that at the start of every semester and is still a straight A student!)

Meggie sent me funny pictures of Jon wearing her hat, I think I might post them!

I've got food in my fridge.
I've got gas in my car.
My lodge is warm, cozy, and happy.

You are wondering why I've gathered you here...

Okay, my peeps.

English lesson 101.3

The car is "pimp". Verb.

Not a "pimp" car. Adjective.

Geeze.

Word.

The phone on the other hand, adjective all the way.

Mom, you are not allowed to blogment on this one.

Jeffery

So, my mom and dad were able to find me a new car.
It's a white 1995 Buick LeSabre with a red interior.
It's pimp.
I can't tell you how grateful I am.
They rock.

So, I have a radio again and I realized how much I missed not having one.

I love singing along as I am driving to work and home from work and to pick up the kids. I even like sitting in the car until the song is over before I get out. I'm quirkie.

Well, here's some songs I love right now:

If You're Reading This--Tim McGraw
So lay me down
In that open field out on the edge of town
And know my soul
Is where my mamma always prayed that it would go
And if you’re reading this
I’m already home

Shiftwork--Kenny Chesney
Talking about a bunch of shift work
A big ol' pile of shift work
Seven to three
Three to eleven
Eleven to seven

Our Song--Taylor Swift
Our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When you're on the phone and you talk real slow
Cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date "man, I didn't kiss her, but I should have"
And when I got home ... before I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again

Stay--Sugarland
I can't take it any longer
but my will is gettin' stronger
And I think I know just what I have to do
I can't waste another minute
After all that I've put in it
I've given you my best
Why does she get the best of you
So next time you find you wanna leave her bed for mine
Why don't you stay
I'm up off my knees
I'm so tired of bein' lonely
You can't give me what I need
When she begs you not to go
There is one thing you should know
I don't have to live this way
Baby why don't you stay

Everybody--Backstreet Boys
No specific lyrics, it just is...ask Tonia.

Suds in the Bucket--Sara Evans
She's got her pretty little bare feet hanging out the window
and they're headed up to Vegas tonight
How could eighteen years just up and walk away
Our little ponytailed girl growed up to be a woman
now she's gone in the blink of an eye
She left the suds in the bucket and the clothes hangin' out on the line

Independence Day--Martina McBride
Let freedom ring, let the white dove sing
Let the whole world know that today is a day of reckoning
Let the weak be strongLet the right be wrong
Roll the stone away
Let the guilty pay
It's Independence Day

I'll share more later.

Oh, and the car's name is Jeffery.
J named him.
He's Benjamin's brother.

Parts of speech

I want to be someone's noun, adjective, even adverb, but I am no longer willing to be someone's verb.
