This 20-something girl in the post office was trying to get the sticker back off of her stamp and had been struggling for about five minutes.
I walked out and she said to me, "Can you help me peel the back off of this stamp?"
I took the stamp and glanced at the back of it in the glare of the lights and said to her, "You have to lick this one."
She said, "Lick a stamp?"
It just made me realize that there is a whole generation of people that have never licked a stamp. Then I giggled all the way out to the car.
"Lick a stamp?"

From now on, I'm going to refer to the 20-somethings as "stamp-lickers."
wouldn't it be the over 20-somethings that are the stamp lickers? The under 20-something crowd are just stamp-peelers...
No. The 20-somethings are stamp-lickers because they won't understand it, and that will be more fun.
