So, my mom and dad were able to find me a new car.
It's a white 1995 Buick LeSabre with a red interior.
It's pimp.
I can't tell you how grateful I am.
They rock.
So, I have a radio again and I realized how much I missed not having one.
I love singing along as I am driving to work and home from work and to pick up the kids. I even like sitting in the car until the song is over before I get out. I'm quirkie.
Well, here's some songs I love right now:
If You're Reading This--Tim McGraw
So lay me down
In that open field out on the edge of town
And know my soul
Is where my mamma always prayed that it would go
And if you’re reading this
I’m already home
Shiftwork--Kenny Chesney
Talking about a bunch of shift work
A big ol' pile of shift work
Seven to three
Three to eleven
Eleven to seven
Our Song--Taylor Swift
Our song is the slamming screen door
Sneakin' out late, tapping on your window
When you're on the phone and you talk real slow
Cause it's late and your mama don't know
Our song is the way you laugh
The first date "man, I didn't kiss her, but I should have"
And when I got home ... before I said amen
Asking God if he could play it again
Stay--Sugarland
I can't take it any longer
but my will is gettin' stronger
And I think I know just what I have to do
I can't waste another minute
After all that I've put in it
I've given you my best
Why does she get the best of you
So next time you find you wanna leave her bed for mine
Why don't you stay
I'm up off my knees
I'm so tired of bein' lonely
You can't give me what I need
When she begs you not to go
There is one thing you should know
I don't have to live this way
Baby why don't you stay
Everybody--Backstreet Boys
No specific lyrics, it just is...ask Tonia.
Suds in the Bucket--Sara Evans
She's got her pretty little bare feet hanging out the window
and they're headed up to Vegas tonight
How could eighteen years just up and walk away
Our little ponytailed girl growed up to be a woman
now she's gone in the blink of an eye
She left the suds in the bucket and the clothes hangin' out on the line
Independence Day--Martina McBride
Let freedom ring, let the white dove sing
Let the whole world know that today is a day of reckoning
Let the weak be strongLet the right be wrong
Roll the stone away
Let the guilty pay
It's Independence Day
I'll share more later.
Oh, and the car's name is Jeffery.
J named him.
He's Benjamin's brother.
