Snowing

It's snowing again in Wisconsin.

Now, I don't like the angry winter storms we have been having. They make the sky look drawn and angry. The snow falls down fast and it's mean. It's cold, bitter, windy, and strained.

And then something happened when I left work tonight. It was still snowing.

Pretty snow.

Big fat flakes of individualized crystals were falling and swirling down to the ground. It makes me feel, once again, like I'm in the middle of a giant snowglobe. I love that feeling.

I stand outside of work and look up to the dark sky and watch the snow fall down.

I am constantly amazed and humbled when I can stand outside in my own personal snowglobe and be mesmerized.

Happy Snow.

I like pretty snow. We actually had a dusting of snow last night. Of course that meant a snow day. I meant to take a pic but since I'm still feeling like crap, I forgot. :(

Snow is pretty...when you are sitting in front of a fire and watching it out the window...but I will take palm trees over snow any day!! :o)

It's a good thing I know people who live with palm trees out their windows and will let me borrow a lounge chair next to the pool and supply me with margaritas...
