There are only fifteen more long, drawn out, exhausting, never-ending days until I am again in the wonder that is Tennessee.
I am trying to make it easier on myself by planning stuff to get done. I need an oil change. I need to clean out my car. I need to put stuff aside to bring with. I have presents!
I sold my T-Bird. I'm very sad. That was the first car I bought with my own money and I loved it. What I am going to love next is the brand new installed windshield that the new owner has found for me. I think it's going to be a match made in heaven.
Oh, as my friend pointed out today, I need to make reservations at my hotel. You'd think I was going to be there in fifteen days or something.
Stacy got the webcam up and running and I got to see her fishies on it tonight! I am so freakin' excited about the whole BB. Now if you want, YOU can join us for karaoke in TN! Well, you can watch us enjoying it! If' you'd like the url just email me or leave a blogment. It's not a PG broadcast, so keep that in mind.
Oh, the things that are running through my head. I can't wait. I can't wait. I can't wait.
I need to go to bed so that I can have one less get up!
Peace, out!

I love that you are counting the get-ups! Cheers to your fun!
My friend taught me how to do that, I like it.
You count up the days that you "have to" get up and don't count the days that you don't.
It means I only have 10 more get-ups before Tennessee!
That makes me happy.
I am confused....you sold your car...but you got a new windshield for it?? That seems pretty nice of you? :)
Man...havent been out doing Karaoke for so long. I miss it. Not that I can sing...but I had fun anyway.
Those "get-ups" suck sometimes dont they!!
Yeah, we should banish get-ups all together and then it would just be time for me to go to TN.
:)
I have a new car, but the day I got it the windshield cracked all the way across.
So, when my friend Pete asked to buy my T-Bird I asked him if he knew of any place that did windshields installed for a reasonable price and he came up with a name and a price that was quite lovely.
So, no, I did not in fact buy a windshield for the car I sold. Selling the T-Bird is letting me afford the windshield for my LeSabre.
Doncha wish you were cool like me? :)
But I wont get to go to TN...so I guess I could take on your get-ups for ya!! :)
And yes....ever since I first came across your blog...I have been caught daydreaming at my desk just WISHING that I could be cool like you!! Seriously. Not joking here. :)
Scott, I'll let you in on a little secret, I think you are actually cooler than me.
I do not have a poetry blog.
I do not have a geocaching blog (which by the way is cool in and of itself).
AND, my blog is just random thoughts from my quirkie quipie life, and I am not sure if I am cool, but I am poetry.
So, you should see that I've added the link to your blog to my "links I think you should totally check out cuz they are cool" on my sidebar.
If you really want to read cool, check out Caetie's blog.
She's cooler than both of us put together.
Oh and Scott, you rock my world for being willing to take on my get-ups so that I can get to TN faster!
You are the man!
Scott, if you only knew how cool she really is. Maybe you should go back to last summers blogs and find out what she does to people that pee in her cornfield. And if you ever think it is ok to pee next to a port-a-potty instead of in it, you better make sure Kimmy is nowhere around.
LMAO!! I will check out the other blogs sometime soon...as well as your older blogs now!
And thanks for thinking that I am cool. I am no Fonzie...but I try! LOL
I loved your line in your comment "and I am not sure if I am cool, but I am poetry." that is a GREAT line. "I am poetry" - that is such a great way to describe someone.
And you are most welcome for me taking care of your get-ups! anything for you!
Scott,
True story (Sorry Caet, fine me later)
A friend of mine actually said those words to me and let me tell you, hearing those words come out of someone's mouth to describe you, well, it changes your soul.
So, everyday I try to remember at least once that I am poetry, it's not everyday that you get a compliment like that.
Oh, and you'll like Corn Karma, check it out!
